ABOUT US
We exist because we care about kids who haven’t had it easy. We want them to be successful in life. In Kenya, challenges are many as jobs are limited and requirements for graduates high. Our school therefore aims to effectively prepare kids for their future.
OUR GOALS – We want to graduate successful leaders with integrity, who are able to help their communities. We give them the knowledge to achieve high grades and we also offer them vocational training, leadership training, and character development guidance.
OUR VALUES – We believe in honesty, mutual respect, integrity, and humility. We live and breathe these values ourselves and guide our students as role models.
OUR STORY – An opportunity met a capability, and the dream finally became a reality. The brain behind this is Wilson Wanjigi, and his motivation is heavily influences by his experience with other sponsoring organisations.
PARTNERSHIPS
We are not alone. Many before us have been supporting the vulnerable population of Kenya. P.W.A. High wants to build on top of what others have already accomplished. Our partners send us promising students so that we can continue together on the children’s journey into adulthood.
WHY WE PARTNER – We are stronger together. We help our partners to accomplish their goals of releasing the students into a self-sustaining life and we learn from our partners’ vast experiences.
TWO WAYS TO PARTNER – Most of our partners a long term partners who regularly send us students. Some other partners come to us for mentorship programs because they care about what we are trying to achieve.
HOW TO START A PARTNERSHIP – Contact us, visit the school and witness with your own eyes how we are practically supporting the students. We can even arrange a video call if you are far away.
THE SCHOOL: P.W.A. HIGH
We educate our students to become responsible and independent thinkers and leaders of tomorrow. The goal is a middle class life that enables them to give back to their families and communities. P.W.A. High offers a wide range of programs that enhance classroom learning.
PROGRAMS – We do vocational training courses on weekends, we invite guest speakers in person and online, we engage them in contests, we offer clubs and sport activities, and we foster their spiritual growth in prayer times.
CAREERS – It’s our aim to inform our students about potential careers for them according to their skills, talents, interests, and goals. We connect them to professionals and offer information on courses, degrees, and scholarships.
