School Opening Day on 2nd of May!

Dear friends, it’s with great pride that we can say that Paul Wanjigi Alpine High School opening day will be on 2nd of May!
From 2nd to 6th of May we will have a School Welcome Week where we will learn more about our students and their sponsoring organisations. The students will get to learn about the school’s vision, mission and goals.
The school opening is only possible due to the behind-the-scene work of getting building permits, budgeting, and other logistical considerations. For these efforts, we have our Board of Management to thank!
While it took one year to build the PWA High School, at times it felt like it was a never-ending process that required an endless number of meetings!
Finding agreement on various issues has helped us to grow and become a strong school team. Our diversity of thoughts, nationalities, and life experiences have helped us build what we believe is a unique high school for the most vulnerable kids. By adopting modern teaching methods, we want to ensure efficient learning and healthy child development.
We are starting as an all-boys school that can board over 50 learners in year one with plans to add the same number every year for the next four years. We limit our classrooms’ size to 25 learners to follow the United Nations recommended student-teacher ratio and be sure to care for each student!
If you want to contact us for any information or question you may do so by sending us an email at info@pwahigh.com. We promise to reply as soon as possible!
If you wish to become one of our partners and enlist new students at PWA High School you can contact us to receive our partnership form.
